Door locks 2004 GMC Sierra Z-71 4+4

Another nice feature with this model is a small plastic knob that after it snaps off you can't open side door. Now lets talk safety, do you think its time for a quick release, or a better product? a piece of plastic stopping you from opening your door in a accident?? Got to love GM.

    that's not great. Can you open the window and open the door from the outside at least?

    Negative, I had to rip the door panel off and move the lock by hand.
