O2 Sensor Light on Isuzu Pickup Truck

The orange color O2 sensor light in the dash of my 1992 Isuzu pickup truck is lit. I bought the truck used and it appears that a new O2 sensor has been installed. What do I need to do to turn off the indicator light?

The light is designed to provide a bulb check when the ignition is turned on, the light should go out after the engine has started.
If the light remains on after the engine has started, there is a malfunction in the O2 sensor or the O2 sensor circuit.
Check that the sensor wiring is connected and that the wire hasn't melted to the exhaust pipe somewhere.
Just because the O2 sensor looks new, do not discount it if all the wiring looks good.

Or perhaps another condition is causing repeated 02 sensor failures.

A very good possibility that you have a rich condition that is coating the O2 sensors.
I would start by checking for any vacuum leaks, making certain that all vacuum hoses are intact and connected.
Then a fuel pressure check would be the next check, making sure it is with in specs and that the fuel pressure regulator is working properly.
