looking to see if someone can tell me it this engine is a zero clearance engine.

I have replaced all the timing components with OEM parts and still have no compression .

So I'm wondering if the valves could have been bent due to the breakage.

The Saturn 1.9L is an interference engine. Timing chain/guide failure usually results in bent valves.

On the positive side, Saturn parts are pretty cheap. How about wiping out a Ferrari V-12 with 48 valves at around $100 apiece?

I guess it's time to pull the head and inspect everything.
