I recently cracked the passenger side, side view mirror. Can I just get a new mirror or do I need a whole new assembly/unit. Does anyone know how difficult it is to replace one. I have the heated and electronically moveable type.

I haven't done it on a Trooper, but on some cars it can be a bit of a hassle with wires and cables. Usually you replace the whole think, as the glass is glued in and could be tough to remove. You might check with the dealer and see how the replacement comes, as a unit or subunit or whatever.

If it's just a crack, and the replacement cost is high, you may want to just live with it for now. Sometimes you can buy those little glue-on convex mirrors that give you a wide-view and that might fit over the crack and help your vision. Those are cheap.
