Coolest truck at the Show, perhaps. Very nice update of the current styling, IMO. Sharp.

Can't help but wonder if this is based on the Mazda RX, since Ford owns both.
It would be too expensive, don't bother.

Suicide doors on a Dakota clone? Face looks like the old Eclipse.
-juice
Looks like it'll go back to aggressive style. Tone it down and it would be very nice looking for production.
Coolest paint effect.

Only info I could find was on that other board, front page though.

Dash lights were a glowing blue, neat. Wagon shape is practical, but it's Mini Cooper sized. And RWD! Thumbs up!

Greenhouse reminds me of the EV1 a little. This was my last favorite of the 3, but still cool.

Check out those lovely rims and that cladding, custom made for me. It's MINE!

Hey look it's the new Outback! LOL

Better yet, anyone have that URL for the tribute web site? Try a google search on Mark Lovell.

Here is the Treo Jeep showed at Tokyo:

Seemed totally ridiculous to me, until I noticed that those wings serve as a bike rack.
Then it only seemed a little ridiculous. ;-)

OK, low blow...

That S40 trunk opening was nice. The lid opens up and then away from you so it's tilted towards the front of the vehicle. I could see how great that would be for fitting in a stroller. Ah, that's what wagons are for anyway, right?
Ken
This follows a trend the Celica set, with blisters sticking out of the headlights.
-juice
Apparently this car is only for people under 5' tall.
-juice
PS Ken - you *need* a wagon, trust me. Ed just e-mailed me that his stroller takes up the entire cargo floor of the Forester. You have to stack!
-Ian
I don't particularly like how asymmetrical it is. The B9SC has a much better layout.
Toyota seperates their two power providers.

Ed
Just a demo of what a fuel cell stack might look like. I think this is what is under the Kiwami.
-juice
Ed: until 22 lbs, I think. Then you need a regular child seat.

I bet 99.9% of show goers never noticed. OCD Club members do!

Note engine powers front axle only.

Greg
But the battery pack powers both axles.

Subaru put this in the JDM Legacy but not ours, why? Are we not worthy?
This is so cool. You push the seat up, it spring loads into place. Pull that latch and it springs the seat forward and down, it's a cinch.
Please bring this over Subaru!
-juice
Good room, comparable to the Legacy. You get those seat folding latches in the sedan, wagon, and hatch.
I hope you don't get the rust - sorry - "staining" on the doors, though.
-juice
It got a ton of attention. Live axle, though, still!
-juice
I just don't see how this is sporty. It's totally dorky looking.
The Nomad is sporty. The Mini Cooper is sporty.
This is dorky!

Steps off soap box.

Fingers getting sore yet? Great stuff, but I'm getting tired just clicking to all the Imagestation links. You must be whipped. Lots of fun things, though, so thanks.
