    Takes coordination for sure. I've just started 'rev-matching' (not toe/heeling yet) and my instinct is to:

    (1) Clutch (2)Shift to lower gear (3) Blip throttle (4) Release clutch.
    I need to switch 2 & 3. So I need more practice.

    Yeah, you want to blip the throttle to help the shifter slide into gear.

    A good way to practice rev-matching is to shift without the clutch. You'll get it a lot quicker.
    Find an empty road, and coast down from 60 mph. Pop out of gear, and rev throttle as you slow down, until you can feel the shifter slip into the next lower gear. No clutch. It's easier than it sounds.
