Help daughters car is stalling on her One time on the freeway when she came to a stop for an accident, then started right back up . The car has always has been tough to start . I put a charge on the battery and cleaned cable connectors seem to fix the starting problem , but yesterday stalled on her when first starting then engine was vibrating on and off while driving. When I ran it it did not do anything ? The car ran fine I had the battery and alternator checked out good What is wrong with this car

    With a car this old it could be so many things that cause stalling----might need a tune up, could have a vacuum leak, a bad sensor, erratic fuel pump--it would be good if a trouble code could be extracted from the car's ECU and a fuel pressure test could be applied, especially right after stalling or during hard starting.
