After all these changes, including a rebuilt transmission, Without any check engine light signal, my car shuts down after first losing power while driving. after waiting ten to fifteen minutes, it starts back up with no problem. Can someone please help me search for a solution, I really loved this vehicle till recently, and has put quite a bit of money, time and energy in my vehicle.

With any intermittent problem like this, the only way to really nail it is to have test equipment on the car when it happens---that way, the tech can "freeze" the data he sees and analyze it.

Or it that's not possible, at LEAST be able to test for spark and fuel at the moment of failure.

It seems odd that no trouble codes were detectable----but not all components or systems throw a code.

I've had it tested, the last code was for the air intake control valve, 292.00, I also went on forward as suggested by auto tech at O'rielly auto parts and changed the fuel filter as well. Went back the next day, got a clear reading. On the way back home from auto store, it happened once again. Drives well, and then all of a sudden, looses power, and shuts down.
