Multiple security deposit during Season of Audi event?

I don't quite understand how the Season of Audi event works. I got email from a few dealers saying that security deposits are waived during Season of Audi event. Does it mean I cannot make MSDs to lower the MF I'm qualified?

Say, in October the MF based on my credit is 0.00106 and I can lower it to 0.00061 by making 9 MSDs. What's changed during the event this month?

Nothing has changed... it's the initial security deposit that's being waived (something that they do frequently, anyway).

Nothing has changed... it's the initial security deposit that's being waived (something that they do frequently, anyway).

I see... Also, during the event, Audi will cover up to $XXX($800 in case of A4) to the first month payment. If my monthly payment is less than $800, can I take advantage of the full $800 by adding more down payment?

Adding more downpayment lowers your payment... It only covers the actual 1st payment on the car, not your full amount due at signing. To take full advantage, put down as little as possible to make your payment higher.
