Front end shuddering

Good morning,
My Subaru was violently shuddering. I think the cold weather has made it worse. It seems to just be when I accelerate. I'm not sure if it's the CV joints or the rack and pinion. It's pretty scary. Any ideas?

    Have you been driving in any wet snow? You might have ice buildup on the inside of the wheels.
