2007 MDX power tailgate, power door lock, and fuel filler door problem

I have a 2007 MDX with tech and entertainment. I am unable to open the power tailgate with either the remote or the inside switch. I then noticed that the inside power door lock, fuel door, and memory position switches do not work either. I cannot open the tailgate manually from the outside but I can open it manually from the inside (as instructed in the owner manual) by prying off the small door on the inside of the tailgate and manually unlatching. Then I can close it using the normal switches so the motor is fine. Has anyone else had similar problems?

    Turned out to be a broken wire in the wire harness coming from the driver door into engine compartment. Apparently, not an unusual problem since the tech seemed to suspect this from the very beginning. Four hundred dollars later everything is back to normal.
