Could my transmission fluid leak be related to my having my radiator replaced?
HELP My 1996 town and country van needed a new radiator. My boyfriend was getting me one 2 weeks ago when he suddenly passed away... .. .):
So a neighbor removed my radiator and patched it for me because I could not afford a new one.
Now I have a severe tranny fluid leak!?
He said ALOT of my tranny fluid leaked out when he was patching my radiator.
My neighbor went to jail!... .. .):
Now I don't know what to do or think.
If my radiator was not properly replaced in my van could that be the cause of my transmission fluid leak??????????????????? HELP
Thank you for any help you can give me. Its been a ROUGH couple weeks

It can work the other way 'round, too. If the upper compartment of the radiator that has the coolant in it, leaks into the bottom compartment with the transmission fluid in it, then the coolant will work its way back into the transmission, eventually wiping it out.
Or just the bottom tank containing the trans fluid can leak---maybe that's what happened in the first place.
In any event, be sure to check your coolant and transmission fluid levels.5
