Hi,

I have a 2012 Altima 3.5 SR with every option (including navigation). The car has 36k miles. I had to have the engine replaced due to a bad piston ring. It was covered under warranty by Nissan and done by Nissan. I also was give a gold extended warranty to 100k miles because of the repair. I'd just like to sell the car now and get something else. Private party estimate is around 16-17k. How much do you think I can sell it for, considering its history? Please advise.

would like to hear what you got for your car. I would think you'd get a bit more that the quoted private party price due to the new engine and 100k warranty. The new engine is kind of a wash considering there's allot that can go wrong with replacing the heart of a car. The warranty will help you improve the price imo.
