Have a high mileage 2007 LS460 243km (150,000 miles). Serviced regularly.
Low oil light comes on then goes off. Not sure I am burning oil and my mechanic confirms that I do not have a leak.
Anyone out there have the same experience?

I'm not familiar with your car, but most oil lights are for low oil pressure. Which isn't necessarily indicative of a low oil level.

Quite often on a vehicle with age/miles on it the oil sending unit may have issues. The usual thing that might happen is light coming on when slowing down/stopping for traffic light/stop sign, then go off when getting foot back into gas pedal. Fix should not be big expense. If changing sending unit does not resolve more serious problem may be present.
