Hey Folks..I sure hope i can get some help..Heres the skinny ..I have a 2006 Suburban z71 without 4wheel...The door locks and the auto seat adjustments will not work on the drivers side until you close the door and turn the ignition switch on. I have pulled diagrams off the web and can't seem to find what it is i need to tell me the go to point...I do have power on an orange wire at the module all the time which it appears is supposed to be by my chiltons manual.. just not understanding why the ignition is making it work if the orange is supposed to be the power supply..I have checked the switches at the jam..one is for interior lights and they work when door is opened...the other appears to be the theft deterent but not exactly sure how to check that and the other seems to be the lock actuator when works when i turn the ignition on and click lock...the passenger side is doing fine with the door open..Thanks for any help you could give..

You mean you have to BOTH close the door and turn the ignition on? Not either?
