Long time follower of the lease discussions here on edmunds, first time posting a question. Received offer via email on S60 T5 FWD, MSRP of $38,350 and lease price of $34,133 - zero down, 39 month lease/12k miles per year for $342.63.

The quoted lease price seems a bit high, assume additional room to negotiate after the test drive/trip to the dealer.

Does the price include tax (if so, what is your state and tax rate?).
What is the amount due at signing?

Here's the additional details - taxes are not included in the monthly, total due down at signing would be first month payment ($342.63), dealer processing fee ($499), taxes/title/tags ($1,585.51 - VA) for a total of $2427.14. Did not qualify for owner loyalty incentive ($500). Many thanks for the help.

My calculations with .00001 MF and 55% residual come out about $8/mo. less, but that's pretty close.

There is $1250 of lease cash on this model, but even with that, your price looks decent.. Of course, a $499 dealer fee is obscene.

I'd sure try to grind a little more off.. .but, it's not bad. The financing is cheap, so I'd roll the taxes into the lease payment.. That will bump the payment up by about $40/mo., but $1585 less out of pocket..
