What's the best SUV one can buy right now?

I'm looking into buying a luxury SUV. I'm not sure what's the best to buy right now. What do you guys think of the Escalade (not the 2015 model because it's horribly ugly) and the Infiniti QX80? Any other SUVs I should be considering?

Not sure by which metric you would measure best. If you need something enormous, maybe you have many small children and value safety as #1 like many parents do.... The safest SUV is the 2015 Volvo XC90. Even before this year, the XC90 was the safest. This year, it's offroad-protection is unique/unmatched and mitigates the top safety problem with all trucks&SUVs: single-vehicle offroad/rollover crashes.

I would agree ... best mileage? Best space? Best safety? Best off-road?
