2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude - Rear wheel well space

Looking at a JGC Altitude. Has anyone noticed that the space in the rear wheel well above the tires is extremely wide. Looks awkward. Anyone have any insight on this?

    Maybe it's the 20 inch wheels and low profile tires that exaggerate the opening. (265/50R) . I don't see any suspension options for the Altitude so I don't think it's been "jacked" over and above the normal JGC.

    Thanks. Dealer told me the same. They say space is not as bad on Overland and Summit because they weigh more.
