Buying a 2000 Corvette

I am talking to someone about buying a corvette 2000 the owner sent me pictures of the car and it looks good. But how do I know if its not a scam? ( the owner said they will send it through through Ebay and send me info through Ebay is that a red flag?

    Ebay doesn't ship cars... If you aren't clear on the details, then take a pass. 2000 Corvettes aren't rare... find one locally.
