2010 Lincoln Navigator tailgate will not open

Hi everyone:
I am happy to join the forum from upstate NY. I have a 2010 Linc Navigator which to date has been bulletproof. Last night all of a sudden my rear tailgate fail to open with the fob or the inside button. Checked the fuse and it is fine, nothing stuck in the door will not open period. How can it be open manually to check the latch? or what should I do to correct this nuisance. I am flying to Europe next week and it will be hell to load and unload the luggage. The tail gate wind does open though. Please help me out .

Never mind, by its own will and accord the tail gate miraculously functioned as it is supposed to do...;-) gpo figure
