Clicking noise whenever I press the clutch in. What could this be?

2006 Pontiac GTO - Tremec T-56 6-speed Manual Transmission

This clicking noise started just a few months ago, I can hear it when the car is just idling, but whenever I press the clutch in, the sound will speed up and get slightly louder. I am not sure what could be causing it, please help.

Needs to go on a lift while running with someone underneath using a stethoscope if necessary. Doesn't sound like normal gearbox rattle because if it were the noise would stop when you push the clutch in. Maybe something in the pressure plate? Hard to say without hearing it and how it relates to engine speed, location of the noise, regularity or non-regularity etc. We're deaf to the sound, so can only talk in generalities.
