ABS and brake sensor lights

A while back I was jumping and older ladys' car. She happened to put the cables on wrong and it surged most of my dash lights on. Ive had everything checked out and its fine except i probably need the whole sensory module replaced so in the event there is something wrong I will be alerted, this is going to run me $800 to $1200, fine, but in the mean time i need my emissions so i can renew my tags and they will not test with the lights on. Is there any way to temporarily disable the lights? Or a place where I can unplug the fuse? I know this sounds sketch but I cant keep getting fined for tags while trying to save up to fix it so i can get tags, its a horrible cycle. Thanks for any help.

Sorry to hear about a good deed gone awry. I don't think there's anything you can do about the lights except maybe appeal to the state referee or contact the agency that deals with emissions testing. It's possible they will pass you as long as the check engine light isn't on. The rules vary state to state. I don't think any smog station will mess with any alterations, and it doesn't matter if you disconnect the light , the computer will still catch the code. Did you get some second opinion on what the light might mean? Sometimes it's just one ABS sensor.5
