    Both my 2003 SVT Focus and my 2011 GTI will do this...yeah, I would hope that a 4k lb. SUV would be able to also.

    Eight 225/45-17 fit in my '06 3-series coupe... 4 of them mounted on wheels.. Might have been able to fit one or two more, in a pinch... (don't try this at home.. lol)

    Fold the seats! As shown, you won't be able to see out the rear window.

    I fit four 17" rims with mounted tires in my 2005 Corvette, plus luggage for the weekend. A CUV doing this is expected.
    Don't worry about what other people think. Drive what makes you happy.
