Pulled a error code 11 off the computer and its listed as the crank angle sensor. But I've yet to be able to find out it's location. Some refer to it as the crank shaft position sensor. Some say it's in the distributor. Some say cam shaft position sensor as well.  I'd like to fix it myself but don't want to purchase the wrong part

It's called the crank angle sensor

THE CRANK ANGLE SENSOR is located in the distributor, on the rear of the cylinder head.

Keep in mind that this code does not necessarily mean that the crank angle sensor is bad. You could have a damaged wiring harness from the CKP to the ECM as well, or corroded or loose connectors. Those defects will also give the same code 11.
