I scored Toyota RAV4 XLE AWD for $262/mo 24/12k with zero down for my wife. Now looking for the best bang for a buck. I don't want another RAV4. Chevy Traverse 2LT would be the best, but it's over $400. Found 2014 Kia Sorrento SX I could lease for about $330/mo 24/12k. Turbo engine or V6 is a must.

I think you are best served posting in the specific model discussions -- this topic is too broad, in my opinion. It all depends on sticker price, amount of discount you can get from sticker, and the residual and MF for the model in question.

And, if the RAV4 is good enough for the wife, why not for you? Years ago, my wife had a '91 Mazda Protege - great car. When it was my turn to get a new ride, I could have gotten the same thing - only difference would have been a stick shift to her automatic. I passed because I didn't want two of the same car in the garage. I ended up with a '91 Nissan Sentra SE. Nice car, but I wish I had gotten the Protege.
