Loud Rear speaker noise, when Avalon Limited is put into reverse

Yesterday, my wife's Avalon started making a loud vibrating noise through the rear center speaker, whenever we put the car in reverse...?
It stops, when we put car in drive...? But it comes back again after turning the car off, and putting in reverse again...? But if we don't turn car off, then it doesn't make the noise again, when we put it in reverse.
This is very strange. It makes the noise whether the radio is turned on or not.
Any suggestions?

    My 2006 Avalon Limited just started making a buzzing noise from the rear speaker when I shift into reverse the first time after starting the engine. Does anyone know the cause and how to correct it ?

    Did anyone determine the cause of the load speaker noise when in reverse?

    If you have the optional rear sunshade that's probably what's causing the noise. This is expensive to fix so it's probably best to just pull the electrical connection, or the dealer can do that for you.
