Those are the correct rates..

With your numbers, I get $416/mo.+tax.. That seems a long way from $548/mo.

He said if I put $1000 down, my monthly payment would lower to $499/mo (I mentioned the monthlys were high and I was looking for something below $500). Is he manipulating the numbers just to get me my desired monthly payment? Would you walk away from this deal? It took a bit to get them down that low from the MSRP but now it seems they won't budge from the monthly

Ask them for the CAP cost.. There are some big extra numbers in there, somewhere. A low selling price doesn't mean a lot, if they are just adding on numbers somewhere else.
