Lease Return Questions (2012 Honda Pilot)

My friend is getting ready to return lease car. She has a dent(about credit card size) on the tailgate (someone dented it in the parking lot), rear tires are less than 3/32(despite rotating) and there is a nickel size crack on the windshield.

She is trying to determine if she should get it fixed before returning or let the dealer handle it. Is there a certain amount of damages they would be ok with? We tried to go through her paper work but we don't see anything in regards to normal wear and tear.

She has only 26K on a 36K lease. Everything else seems to be good shape. Is there a disposal fee when returning the car? What should she expect?

Thank you very much in advance.

Not sure if it still applied in 2012, but Honda Finance used to forgive damage under $500 per item, up to a total of $1500. (If a single item was $501+, no forgiveness).

She should have the opportunity for a pre-turn-in inspection, about 3-4 weeks before turn-in. They will tell you on the spot, what your lease-end charges will be. Once she knows that, then she can make a decision.
