Buying a car for first time

I am a first time car buyer and I dont know much about cars. I found a kia sorento from 2007 that sounds good but it has around 120,000 miles. The price is $3900. Is that a good deal? How many miles is too many?

    It's not the miles so much as the maintenance, up to a point anyway.

    You can appraise it here and see what the pricing "should" be like in your area.

    A pre-purchase inspection can be cheap insurance.
