Crossfire vs TBI Distinction?

I have heard the terms used interchangeably, but what is the tech difference between F body Crossfire and TBI on humble 4 cylinder cars like Fiero, Cimarron etc.? Also, what kind of spec changes existed between Corvette and F body Crossfire? Thanks.

    I see that you've posted this on a number of websites already and I think you've gotten some pretty good answers already (you might check back with your post history on all those other sites), so no reason to get into all that redundancy.
