Can you cancel or get out of a signed contract?

Hi. Can I get out of a signed contract and financing if I haven't taken possession of the new car yet? I just found out that next year's model will be out in 3 months and would rather get that.

If yes, can the dealer sue me and make it more trouble than it's worth? This is for Massachusetts.

If the car hasn't "rolled over the curb" then you might have a chance to unwind the contract. Call the dealer and explain to them what's going on and ask them what your options are.
