I just had my transmission rebuilt put it in and now it skips 1st gear and goes right into 2nd gear

    You mean it starts off in 2nd gear or do you mean it stays in 1st only a very brief time?

    If you just had it rebuilt, why not just take it back to the shop that did the rebuild.

    They should warranty it for a period.

    The problem doesn't have to be inside the transmission. Are there any codes setting in the PCM?

    yes, there are codes I will borrow my buddy's code reader and get back with you. thanks
