Advanced Track

We have a 2005 ford expedition eb with advanced track. Advanced track accidently got turned on and is stuck on and will not turn off. Going through gas like crazy and doesn't seem to be driving correctly. We have tried the trick of holding the button down until "off" flashes and stops but it still does not turn it off. The light on dash is always on showing that its engaged along with the message box constantly shows "check advanced track". Any help would greatly be appreciated as to how to get this to turn off and NEVER come back on.

    advancetrac is integrated with the ABS system. You'll have to have the vehicle scanned for DTC codes to figure out what's up here. Could be wheel sensor, steering column sensor, defective front hubs---lots of things. I would have the vehicle towed. I wouldn't drive it like this anymore.

    We had it scanned and all the codes we got were for cylinder 5 so we put a new one in and the o2 sensor so that's our next step. Haven't been driving it just need to figure this out thought maybe someone else knew or had this problem before we put it into the shop.
