Where am I allowed to get service on my leased Honda?

2015 Odyssey Lease: Do I have to go to a Honda dealership for the regularly scheduled maintenance? What is the typical maintenance - I assume this is in my lease agreement but I cant locate it right now - I just passed the 3 month mark so I need to get this straight. I am really curious if I can go into a while-you-wait non-Honda place, which would be way more convenient than a dealership.

Thanks for any input.

You can go anywhere you want... The lease agreement will probably state that you have to service it according to the owner's manual, but they can't make you take it to the dealer.

That's correct. Read your owner's manual. You also have a service reminder light that will come on.

Personally, I have no love for the Quickie Lube places. Some may be O.K. but they tend to be staffed with inexperienced people who's goal is to upsell unnecessary things.

Some dealers have a dedicated quick service area for oil changes.

If you are dead set against using a dealer I would find a good indy shop.

In any event, be sure to save all of your receipts in case something happens.
