I received the deal on 2015 X5, essentially,

MSRP = $70250
Sale Price = $61098 - $1000 (UDE Credit) = $60198
Cap Cost = $61439 ($1341 in fees)
7MSDs = $5250

Total monthly payment = $747 (Base price + tax + bank fees included in monthly payment)

Residual 58% and MF 0.00121 (Even after doing MSDs)

Basically, $660 + $50 (7% tax) + $37 (bank fees) = $747

It does add up for me, but I think the MF is marked up.. he is telling me upfront that he is trying to make money from that, as price is marked down. The car is run 3000 miles on it. Someone bought it in cash, check returned and he could not afford it any more. He drove for about a month. Sounds like a reasonable deal if I lose money on MF but given the marked down price, although nervous about the story I was given. Car is clean, no scratches. Also, its not converted to CPO as it is never titled.. Any idea welcome!

Thanks!

    The money factor is definitely marked up the maximum from the base of .00081 (after 7 MSDs). That adds about $40/mo. to your deal.

    You have to balance that against the big discount, I guess..
