2009 Chevy Silverado electrical

Lights flicker. Stabil track warning light. Door locks going crazy. Truck shutting down while driving. When i hit brake or flick high beam or turn signal. Any suggestions. My wife drives my truck with my two boys because its a 4 door. I cant have that happening on them. It unsafe.

Truck also down shifts going down road on its own.

So, multiple electrical failures. First steps would be for you to check all battery connections and engine-to-frame ground connection. Clean and tighten as necessary. Also check serpentine belt tension.

Then if that doesn't cure anything, you should have the battery load-tested and the alternator output checked.

If those are ok, then I'd have the car scanned for trouble codes. There are a lot of possibilities here.
