Which is the better of the two? 03 Dodge Caravan with 112,000 miles or 05 Kia Sedona with 95,500 miles? I am looking at getting one of the two of these and I am trying to get the best bang for my buck but my main thing is not having many car repairs. Thanks in advance!

Tough question, a lot depends on how they were maintained.

I got a used '09 Grand Caravan a year ago with 125k on it and have put 30k on it with few problems.

    Which means basically nothing. :)

The rap on the older Sedona's was lousy gas mileage. Everything else being equal, I'd lean toward the Kia just because it's two years newer.

It's not a bad idea to spend $100 or so for a pre-purchase inspection.

It's always a roll of the dice with used cars but I'd guess the Caravan would be easier to get parts for and to get serviced. Steve's right--a pre purchase inspection is well worth the cost.

Good point - there's millions of Caravans out there.
