2015 BMW 3 Series Prices Paid

Hello all,

I couldn't find any information I was looking for, so I decided to start this discussion. I'm planning on buying a 2015 320xi or 328xi in a couple of weeks and I'd like to get an idea of how much discount I should be expecting. Since 2016 models are already out and dealer would need to get the 2015 models off their lot, I expect there would be quite a lot of discount for the 2015, otherwise it doesn't make sense to get 2015 when 2016 is already available. Anyways, can people please share their purchase price of the 2015 3 series? Greatly appreciated! Thanks!

In general, 5-7% off sticker for a new BMW, before incentives, is a good starting point. You can also use the Edmunds pricing tools (make / model / year pull downs at the top of the page).

You may also want to check out the "BMW 3-series Lease Questions" discussion. I know you are buying, not leasing, but there may be some good comparative information to be found regarding what others have been able to negotiate.

    Hi,

I am looking at leasing an ex-loaner BMW 328xi 2015 here in PA. The best offer I have had with the options listed below is $399.86/month with $2,228 at signing. Taxes included. I believe this is 9% here where I am. This is for 36 months, 10,000 miles. The current mileage on the car is only 7,000. The MSRP was listed at $51,500. Residual value is $31,800. The selling price was $44,494, but I got it down to $41,950. Is this a good offer? I have no idea what the money factor is. I have asked this question to the dealer. What else can I negotiate? I have excellent credit. What is the least money factor or rv value I should settle for? Should I try and get 12,000 miles at the same price?

Thanks in advance for reading and for your help.

The 36/10 lease numbers for a 2015 328xi are .00134 and 64%. There is $1500 buildout credit, but I suspect you've already got that given the great price you've negotiated. The residual should be adjusted downward .20/mile, or $1400.

All that said, I calculate a payment of $422/mo with those numbers (including tax), so your quote of $400/mo looks pretty good by comparison.

I would ask for a breakdown of the $2288 due at signing.

Thanks Michael. Apologies in advance if I posted this qs at multiple places. Was not sure where it would get answered.
