Cooling fan?

I have a 2008 328xi and have noticed over the past couple of days the cooling fan coming on a lot and rather loud. I've only been driving short distances and it's fall where I am so temps are around 40-50. No warning lights have come on. Anything to be concerned over? Normal? Anyone had this happen?

You'd best check your coolant level first off.
  • Will do. If they are fine any other suggestions? Thanks.
  • Problem has worsened. Coolant has been filled(was low) fan turns on as soon as car is started, now theres no heat coming through. Runs loud and rough.....
