1986 Isuzu I-Mark trim - Cindi

I have a 1986 Isuzu I-Mark, the back hatch has a chrome trim that is attached to the car with very small clips as you can well imagine over the 29 years of the car (I'm the original owner) those clips have broke. Does anyone know where I can get these clips at the very least or a new chrome pieces which I would assume would come with the clips?

He means the clips. The trim piece is made out of unobtanium and the only place you'd find the trim would be in a wrecking yard. You might also consider other imaginative ways of attaching the trim.

so yeah, bring a sample of the old clip to the parts store and see what they can match up.

Hello! Yes, an auto body supply shop. Provided the part isn't discontinued, if so, ask if there is a generic replacement. Good luck.

Thanks for your response, I was hoping I would just be able to order these clips online somewhere. However, my second choice was your suggestion.

How about some tape? Most of the trim these days is "glued" on, isn't it?

If I can't find the clips for the chrome trim, I will go with the faux trim which indeed is glued on.
