Dashboard and tail lights out
My dashboard and tail lights have gone out. I'm not sure if it all happened at the same time or not. I checked the fuses and they appear to be fine. I also looked at the light bulbs for the tail lights and they all seem to be fine, except one that looks a bit black but hasn't yet popped. Not sure if there could be anything related with this, but I heard a few days ago a small electrical sound when I turned off my car, but the lights had already gone out.
Suggestions on how to fix are greatly appreciated.

You can test for voltage at the tail lights with a simple test light and probe.
Also check your dimmer switch for the dash lights. Sometimes it gets moved accidentally.
If there's no voltage to the tail lights and the fuses are good, then you or someone has to start the detective work, probing the harness from the back to the front.
Could also be a faulty headlight switch, so by all means check that out.
