2015 X5 50i prices

Now that the 2016s are readily available on dealer lots I notice a lot of 2015 X5 50i sitting along side them. What kind of discounts should we expect on the 2015s? I've only inquired thru email about one at a local dealer. It's not my preferred color combo so it would have to be a really good deal to get me interested. What they had was:

2015 X5 50i
jet black
black dakota
cold weather pkg
Driver assistance plus
executive pkg
MSRP 77100
price including incentives 68600

that would be a great deal on a 2016 but not sure it qualifies as great for a 2015? Opinions?

For BMW's in general, 5-7% off sticker before any available incentives seems to be a good target. X5's, however, don't have as great a discount on them.

Use the "Make / model / year" pull downs at the top of the page to link to the Edmunds pricing information to see what a good price is. You want to get below TMV, as that represents an average price for your location.

Then, take that number to multiple dealers (via email) to see if any of them bite.

That said, if I'm spending $70K on an SUV, I'd want to get exactly what I want, color and option wise. Heck, the wife and I waited 2 weeks for the right color Outback to show up on the lot, and that was half the price of the X5 you are looking at.

Ordered my 2016 for 9.5% off list. Not a 5.0, but they are harder for the dealers to sell. Go for the 2016 if you are a cash buyer.
