Trying hard to find a truck fast for my husband and I am kind of lost!

He is needing a 2000 Classic Sierra Crew Cab, 3/4 ton, short bed, SLT or SLE.

I am trying to find the dimensions on the Short Box maybe (61")?

Can anyone advise me and where I might look for this truck.

I had no trouble finding my great Tahoe! (With an excellent price too!)

    Thanks in advance,

    lilo

It was in Eagle River,Wisc. at Parson's Chevorlet, don't know the phone number, but they had a sales tag on it. Give them a call, if your far away, they may even drop ship to nearest dealer. Good Luck..........

I just checked Lawrence Marshall in Hempstead TX and according to their website, http://www.lawrencemarshall.com, they have three 4wd crew cabs on their lot and two 2wd crew cabs on their lot. I think the short bed is about 72" long. If you contact them, talk to Robert Wolf.

Raleigh NC Native looking for a New 2500 Crew Cab SB 4x4 5.7L with cloth, power everything. Appreciate leads or site to check dealer stock. Local dealer wants too much to get one. He has a leather one with a bunch of upgrades not needed but, it drove like crap. Must be a lemon, noisy, no pep. Drove like I was hauling a load. Acceleration/pep/milage comparison with Z71 appreciated. I like the 4 doors but, please tell me the extra weight and 3.73 ratio don't make it a dog like the one I test drove. Additional options on the test vehicle like brush guard and side impact bars and bed rails add more weight but surly not to a point that should be noticeable on the pep, right?
Dodge seems to have some good rebates so, I will consider a Dodge Ram but, I also need to find one to test drive. Ford F250 is nice but too high in more ways than one. Backup plan is a Z71 Ext cab but, I think I'd like the 5.7L engine and crew cab better and I think the price will be about equal. I figure the 5.7 would be a better tow engine and I might get a camper to tow in the future.
FYI, My friend just had his 1 yr old '99 Z71 engine replaced after a rebuild in Oct and 9 months of pestering GM to the point of arbitration due to a lifter clicking noise on first crank up in the mornings. 1st time poster so be gentle please.
