Acura RDX lack of vent for back
Thinking that I wanted to purchase a 2013 used RDX, I went to the dealership to test drive. I noticed that there are no vents for the back seat passengers. My 2006 Highlander also does not have vents in the back, and my back seat passengers complain a lot about no air conditioning getting back there in the summer. Does anyone have any complaints about this, or isn't it an issue?

It might take a little longer to get there but it should provide adequate cooling. It's possible your Highlander wasn't putting out quite the cold air it should have. AC can deteriorate over time. The best way to check is with a vent thermometer, to see if the system is at max efficiency.5
