What is causing my power outlet fuse to blow?

When I plug up my phone and charger cord to either power outlet on my 2009 Camry the fuse blows. The charger cord and phone works in my other vehicles. I have checked other power cords in the Camry and it also blows the fuses. Would this be a relay that controls the fuses?

One of the prime suspects for this type of problem is the wiring behind the "socket" that you plug into. What happens is that many of the charging plugs sold today are not precisely made, and so they don't fit in the receptacle as well as they should, require the user to pull and tug and push and twist; consequently, the connection behind the power port can get loose and short out. Given that all the power ports are probably on the same circuit, I think just one defective wire could affect all of them.

If it's not too difficult to pop out the receptable and examine the wiring, that's what I'd do first before tearing into the car's electrical system.
