If you have patience and a soldering gun, you might be able to repair it in place.

Any attempt to repair the harness between the door and the vehicle will repeatedly fail. Besides, if the harness has a wire failed, the rest aren't far behind. Damaged wires get hard from the bending the harness experiences every time the door is opened and closed. This hardening of the wire(s) is easily felt when you separate the harness strands.

First, the door panel needs to be removed to properly test the circuits involved. From there if a broken wire is confirmed, the right way to fix this is to then remove the kick panel and unplug the door harness from the chassis main harness and bring it out of the door so that it is easy to access both ends of each wire. Replace about one foot of each wire so that you end up with new wires in the pivoting area of the harness. It's easier to do this right the first time than it is to revisit it any number of times and it makes for a cleaner repair instead of cutting the bellows.
