Thick black oil and my car now sounds like a diesel engine

Used my vehicle 2 Days ago and it was running perfectly,I started it yesterday morning and the oil light was on!what i found strange was that my Aveo sounded like a diesel motor, which its not! the car idled iwent to garage and checked the oil,oil reading on dipstick was full but the oil was extremely black and very very very thick!please help

    Strange. Some sort of contaminant is in there, sounds like. Have you gone through any kind of dust storm or sand storm? When was your last oil change?

    Burnt oil. Change it ASAP with a good quality filter .
