hey guys help me out. My 2008 g35x shuts off while driving on highway. I loose all power brakes etc, kind of danger, what's happening with the car? no check engine light and turns back on again, It's automatic. Do you thinks is the fuel pump or the crankshaft sensor???? HELP please.

Well not every fault will throw a check engine light---a fuel pump wouldn't for instance. Of course, get the car scanned and see if any trouble codes are stored, but with these nasty intermittent types of problem, you might have to resort to having a technician driving the car at the moment it fails (with his scanner hooked up), so that he can stream the data and spot what's going on.

Thanks Mr Shifrigth. I am taking the car back to the dealer. There are many forums with several things that could be causing the car to shut off = fuel pump, ECM, crankshaft sensor, etc. I hope they can find the issue. It's scary to be driving at 70 and loose all power and have not brakes.
