2012 Acura TL Window Issue

I have had the car for a few months. It has approximately 44K miles. Today I parked , shut the car off and locked the car by depressing the keyless entry button on the exterior drivers door handle.. All windows were up and the sun roof was closed. It was approximately 35 degrees with snow. I came out about five minutes later and all four windows were completely rolled down and the sun roof was completely open. Is this a feature of the car I am unaware of that can somehow be triggered by remote or is this some sort of electrical glitch? Has this happened to anyone else. Thanks in advance for any help

So you didn't use a fob of any kind?
  • The same has happened to me 2-3 times (and I bought the car new). There is a feature on the key fob whereby pressing the "unlock" button twice and holding it down will open all of the windows and doors. It is designed to vent the car in summer before you get inside (to cool it down) - as an example.

HOWEVER, the 2-3 times that I've returned to find all of my windows and sunroof open where not due to me holding down the unlock button. A true mystery to me. I've seen this posted on a few other forums as well (folks usually insist that the unlock button was inadvertently held down in your pocket....but not the case).

Would love to hear if you find the real cause.
