Traction Control engages when wheels are turned. Not the "Reduced Power" problem. This is different.

Ok, so I have had this car for a while now. It just passed 150k miles and its going strong. Lately it has been acting up in the traction control department.

When the car is at a stop, the wheels are turned (like exiting a parking spot/lot/driveway) and I press on the gas, the traction control engages and the car doesn't move. The traction control just grinds away.

I thought it may be an issue with the power steering, but the fluid on on level.

Help a frustrated guy out? Thanks!

Might want to scan for a steering angle sensor problem.

I have a 2002 Impala that had simular problems & it turned out to be  broken wires on the front tire rotation sensors. Each front wheel has a sensor that sees the tire rotation, and there are 2 conductors taped together coming from the harness to the plugs for the sensor on each wheel. There was one wire that was visibly broken and sticking out. Turn tires so that you can see these wires and check them. Be sure to check both front wheels. I hope this helps.

I am having the same issues as well. Right now my car is sitting at 114206 miles the problem started happening three years after I bought the car it was a used 2012 Chevy Impala and was running just fine until this year. All of the sudden the service stability track would come on followed by the engine light coming & my car moving so slow. Then thinking it was a tire sensor I had the tire sensor fixed but the issue continued, i also flushed the transmission fluid, then read it could be the sensor located in the gas pedal. I paid to have it replaced but the Issue still is not resolved. Aside from not being to fix this issue, I love my car. I'm frustrated that I have read so many owners having the same issues but the problem continues.  I'm ready to trade in the vehicle as its costing me more to fix then just getting a new car. Someone please pleeeeease advise.
